The Camelot Jesters put on a gritty display at last weekend’s House of Hope 7s Charity Touch Rugby Tournament, hosted by Saracens Amateurs in North London. Taking on strong opposition in an open‑age, mixed‑gender format, the Jesters won one game, drew three, and lost only one on their way to a well‑earned spot in the Plate Final. In a tense finish, they narrowly missed out, going down to a sudden‑death try against Sarries Touch Rugby. A valiant effort all round!
Touch Rugby for a Worthy Cause
Beyond the competition, the day raised valuable support for the Denis Goldberg House of Hope, bringing players and supporters together for a fantastic cause. Saracens Amateurs ran an excellent event that was friendly, welcoming, and brilliantly organised — a credit to the community spirit at the heart of grassroots rugby.
